Spring is in the air
And so are some pictures of me. The first ones are me with my new Sit and Spin. Then some of me just being…me.
Finally, since it was spring, I thought I would try a Jackie-O look.

Well, I celebrated my first birthday and I have to say it was just exhausting.
I had to wear a special dress, all these people showed up, and I had to smile and wave to all of them. There was a lot of food, though. A bunch of my friends showed up, and we all had chicken nuggets and some cake.
Oh, and all these people sang to me! And Nana Lewis came out just to watch them sing, and Grandmother Dinh was there too!
And then I blew out a candle (but I had a little help, because I had never blown out candles before. Next year, I’m sure I can do it on my own). There are pictures of the party here. If you want to see.
My dads took a couple of videos of me, and have put them up. Just click on the link and watch them. (Windows Media Player needed).
I got to fly to Boston and visit my family out there. It was very exciting, and I got to see a bunch of people. First, there was a cookout at Auntie Mary’s. There were a lot of people, more than I had ever seen before. Here are some pictures:
I also got to take pictures with my family, the Lewis’, Scotts, and Moultons! I took pictures with them as well!
Then I spent time at my Auntie Kelleigh’s house, and finally at Nana Lewis’. It was a lot of fun!
Well, today I woke up, and thought to myself: I better exercise, considering everyone has been talking about my three chins. I grabbed on to the hanging ducks, and pulled, and pulled myself, it was definately hard work. I held onto the rings for almost 20 minutes. I thought I would go for a record, but I sneezed, and scared myself into letting go.
When I finished that, my daddies put me on my tummy and helped me do push ups so I can get an early start on crawling. Wait until I can crawl, I will be all over the house. When that was done, I decided to take a nap, but then my daddies were having too much fun without me, so I woke up and joined in, except I was yawning, and yawning….
My daddies took some pictures of me. I look pretty in pink! I must have gotten my beautiful blue eyes from one of my daddies, as I was told.
They sparkle when I am happy, and soulful when I feel sad. Thats how I get my dads to hold me, always.
I better go eat, as more exercise tomorrow, and I am going for a stroll with my dad while our car is being oil-changed. Isn’t that exciting?
Two months. That’s six…seven…eight weeks. EIGHT. That’s 56 days. 1344 hours. 80,640 minutes. Wow. So I look that old?
So, how did I celebrate this milestone? My dads took me to the doctor. Yep. No cake. No Candles. Just lots of prodding. Well, I found out that I am 23 1/4 inches, which is in the 80 percentiles. Yea me! I’m also 12 pounds, six ounces. 80 Percentiles again!
The bad news was I had to get three shots. One right after another. Still, I handled it well. And, afterwards, My dads fed me right away and by the time I was done eating, I almost forgot about the shots. Almost.
Then, I spent some time with Q while my dad had a dental appointment. (My other dad was at school). She was nice, though she avoids the cracks on the sidewalk when she pushes me and, really, those are the best parts. Nice and bumpy, which I like.
Hey. There’s more pictures up of me. Those old pictures make me look too young!.
I had my first shopping adventure today with my daddies. Well, mostly with my ‘Shopping’ daddy. You probably can guess which one. My other daddy held me most of the time, and took some pictures of me. Here’s one of them:
My great Uncle Joe, who I call that because he’s great, and also because he’s old, wrote me a poem. I thought it was nice, so I’m sharing it.
Hi I’m Minh
I’ve just arrived and I’m cold
Would you wrap me in a blanket?
Would you hold me on your shoulder?
I don’t weight too much so I won’t be too heavy
Hold me closer and wrap your arms around me
I need warmth but I need to have it wrapped in love
Will you love me forever?
Will you hold me when I cry?
Will you feed me when I’m hunger?
Will you change me when I’m wet?
Will you forgive me when I’m bad?
Will you teach me about all things?
Will you be there when I’m hurting?
I can only smile and look and listen to you now
Someday though, I will walk over rainbows with you
Please wait and grow with me
I need a dad like you.
I’m Minh and I love you
Well, my first Christmas came and went. I got to dress up and everything, but the excitement of it all wore me out, so I am sleeping through most of the pictures.
We had a tree, but it was too far away for me to see (my eyes are still a little new). I got a new mobile for my crib (which I am moving to), and some clothes.
